2. Discuss the weather and calendar: Complete the Weather and Calendar Chart
9:10: English
1. Sight words – introduce new sight word had. Say the sight word and try to put it into a sentence. Practice all sight words including new word. Complete the 'had' page from the sight word booklet with your new word.
2. Reading – Choose one reader from your Reading Box in Wushka. Read the book, then talk about your favourite part of the book.
3. Phonics – Introduce the sound ‘r’. What is in your house that starts with ‘r’. Draw the letter in the air. Say some words that start with ‘r’. How many sounds can you hear? Complete ‘r’ page in the phonics booklet.

4. Writing – Draw, Talk, Share, Write. Follow the instructions and complete task #8 in your writing workbook. Upload your drawing and writing onto Seesaw.
5. Speaking and listening – answer 2 questions:
- What are your favourite pizza toppings?
- Name 5 types of vegetables.
6. Read to – Read a story book or listen to one online. Draw a picture in your exercise book of your favourite part.
7. Handwriting – Use your marker and a tissue to practise tracing the letters r, n, m, h, b, p and k. These letters go down, back up and around. Then complete the b page from the handwriting booklet.

11:30: Mathematics
1. Counting. Practise counting your collection of 20 objects. Count forwards and backwards. Then try counting from 7 and keep counting.
2. Number. Complete the number 9 recognition activity sheet. Glue it into your book when finished.
3. Equal groups. Fold a piece of A4 paper in half and then open it up. Make two equal groups using 10 counters. How many groups are there? How many counters are in each group? How many counters are there altogether?
4. Repeat with 4 groups (fold the paper in half again) and make equal groups. How many groups are there? How many counters are in each group? How many counters are there altogether?
12:40: Sport
Practise your running skills. Start by walking, jogging and then sprint running to different corners of your backyard. Remember to lift your knees high, look ahead and run as fast as you can. Then practise sprint running from a start line to a finish line. Have a race with someone in your family. Play a game of bee stings with someone in your family. One person is selected to be the ‘bee’. The bee chases others by running and stinging them by touching their backs. If you are stung swap roles with the bee.

Discuss your family, look again at the different family pictures from last week. How are they different from your family?
Write your name on the This is my family sheet.
Trace the words – ‘This is my family’.
Draw a picture of each family member and label them.
Fill in the number on the bottom sentence – There are ____ people in my family.
