Each year in semester, all parents and carers are invited to take part in the Partners in Learning survey, which accompanies the student survey taking place during the same time period. This survey helps to clarify and strengthen the important relationship between parents / carers and the school, and allow the school to understand parents’ perspectives on their children’s experience at school, including teaching, communication and the school’s support of learning and behaviour.
The survey is anonymous and is available in multiple languages. It is conducted entirely online on a computer, tablet, iPad or smartphones and takes around 15 minutes to complete.
Parents / carers with more than one child at the school may choose to complete the survey more than once, if they feel that their children’s experiences differ.
The survey is run by an independent research company, The Learning Bar, which specialises in school-based surveys, and provides the collected data back to the school and the NSW Department of Education.
