9:00: Morning Routine
1. Fruit break
2. Discuss the weather and calendar: Complete the Weather and Calendar Chart
9:10: English
1. Sight words – introduce new sight word of. Say the sight word and try to put it into a sentence. Practice all sight words including new word. Complete 2 activities from the sight word grid with your new word.
2. Reading- Complete home reading. Find all the words that you know in your home reader every day.
3. Phonics- Introduce the sound ‘c’. What is in your house that starts with ‘c’. Draw the letter in the air. Say some words that start with ‘c’. How many sounds can you hear? Complete ‘c’ page in the phonics booklet.

4. Writing- Draw, Talk, Share, Write. Follow the instructions and complete task #3 in your writing workbook. Upload your drawing and writing onto Seesaw.
5. Speaking and listening - answer 2 questions:
- What is your favourite thing to learn at school?
- Name 5 things that are hot.
6. Read to - Read a story book or listen to one online. Draw a picture in your exercise book of your favourite part.
7. Handwriting – Use your marker and a tissue to practise tracing the letters c, o, a, d, g and q. These letters start at the top and go around. Then complete the d page from the handwriting booklet.

11:30: Mathematics
1. Counting. Count how many steps it takes to get from the backdoor to the front door and back.
2. Number. Complete the number 6 recognition activity sheet. Glue it into your book when finished.
3. Fractions. Practise cutting a piece of bread in half. Are there two equal parts? Then cut it in the opposite way to what you have just done. How many pieces do you have now? Is each piece a half of the slice? How do you know?
4. Put your pieces of bread together. How can you and a partner get a fair share of the bread? Share your slice of bread with someone.
5. Complete the worksheet by colouring in half of each shape.
12:40: Sport
Practise your balancing skills. Walk forwards, backwards and sideways along a line with your arms out to the side and head up. Then walk forwards along the line heel to toe and then backwards toe to heel. Don’t forget to look at something in front of you and stand up tall when balancing. Play a game of balance tag with someone in your family. One person is ‘in’ and they have to tag others in the game. When someone is tagged that must balance on one leg for 10 seconds. They can then continue playing the game.

Discuss different people who could be in a family. Look at the different families in the picture cards poster. Can you think who each person may be? Do any of the families look like your family?
Create a mini family book by tracing the family words, cutting out then stapling the pages together
