9:00: Morning Routine
1. Fruit break
2. Discuss the weather and calendar: Complete the Weather and Calendar Chart
9:10: English
1. Sight words – introduce new sight word because. Say the sight word and try to put it into a sentence. Practice all sight words including new word. Play the Race the Rainbow sight word revision game.
2. Reading- Complete home reading. Find all the words that you know in your home reader every day.
3. Phonics- Use the I spy worksheet from your week 3 pack to play a game of I spy. Look for pictures that start with the s, a, t, p, I, n sounds. Make sure to tell your partner the sound that the picture starts with and not the name of the letter.

4. Writing- Draw, Talk, Share, Write. Follow the instructions and complete task #5 in your writing workbook. Upload your drawing and writing onto Seesaw.
5. Speaking and listening- answer 2 questions:
- What was the last movie that you watched?
- Name 5 things that have wings.
6. Read to - Read a story book or listen to one online. Draw a picture in your exercise book of your favourite part.
7. Handwriting – Use your marker and a tissue to practise tracing the letters c, o, a, d, g and q. These letters start at the top and go around. Then complete the q page from the handwriting booklet.

11:30: Mathematics
1. Counting. Count how many steps it takes to get from the lounge room to the kitchen and back.
2. Number. Number 6 home learning challenge. Follow the instructions at the top of the sheet.
3. Area. Find one thing in your house that has a larger area than a piece of paper and one thing that has a smaller area than the piece of paper. Draw them in your book.
4. Look at the windows on the worksheet. Which window has the larger area. How do you know? Cut out the windows and compare the windows by placing them on top of each other

Follow the instructions and play each game on the activity card.

1:15: Lunch
1:55: CAPA - Dance
Dance to a fast song, e.g. ‘Rock this party’ by Bob Sinclair . Dance as if you are moving through honey, moving though water, in mud up to their knees and on a hot road. Then play the game again using a slower song, e.g. ‘Thinking out loud’ by Ed Sheeran . Then play a game of musical statues. Move around the room and when the music stops, make a shape with your body and freeze.
