9:10: English
1. Sight words – introduce new sight word did. Say the sight word and try to put it into a sentence. Practice all sight words including new word. Complete 2 activities from the sight word grid with your new word.
2. Reading- Complete home reading. Find all the words that you know in your home reader every day.
3. Phonics- Introduce the sound ‘k’. What is in your house that starts with ‘k’. Draw the letter in the air. Say some words that start with ‘k’. How many sounds can you hear? Complete ‘k’ page in the phonics booklet.

4. Writing- Draw, Talk, Share, Write. Follow the instructions and complete task #4 in your writing workbook. Upload your drawing and writing onto Seesaw.
5. Speaking and listening - answer 2 questions:
- Where is an exciting place that you have visited?
- Name 5 things that are brown.
6. Read to - Read a story book or listen to one online. Draw a picture in your exercise book of your favourite part.
7. Handwriting – Use your marker and a tissue to practise tracing the letters c, o, a, d, g and q. These letters start at the top and go around. Then complete the g page from the handwriting booklet.
11:30: Mathematics
1. Counting. Count how many steps it takes to get from the kitchen to the bathroom and back.
2. Number. Complete the number 6 number sense worksheet. Glue it into your book when finished.
3. Area. Get two different sized books and compare them. Which book has the bigger area? How do you know?
4. Use a piece of string or ribbon and experiment by making different lines. Lines may be straight, curved or zigzag. Draw them in your book.
5. Make a closed shape with the string or ribbon and describe the area. Draw it in your book and colour it in.

1:55: Fine Motor
Make a paper plate possum. Cut around each shape (head, arms and legs) from the template carefully. Then cut the tail by cutting around the outside and then cutting long the dotted curved line and stop at the centre. Paste all the pieces to the paper plate body.
