Morning 9-11am
Reading - Read for 10 minutes OR TRY WUSHKA online – username and password on the letter.
Comprehension - Complete the Informative book Reading Response information VIP sheet for today’s book OR Complete ‘The Story Star’ page on the reverse
Writing - Writing prompt - Choose an animal from pictures supplied and write about it in your book
10 Minute fruit break
Handwriting - Trace the sentence with a washable texta. Make sure you start at the dot and stay on the line. Wipe off with a damp cloth.
10 minute break
Spelling - Choose 5 new words from the sight word list. Complete 2 activities from the ‘Sight Word Activity Grid’. Check pictures on the website if you are not sure what to do.
Phonics - Search THRASS Picture Words sheets 1, 2 and 3 for things that have four legs.
Write them on the sheet and trace the bold letters in a colour.

3D and 2D SPACE - 3D Objects worksheet Find a variety of 3D objects in your house and make a list in your workbook. Draw and label the objects you find if you prefer

Afternoon session 2-3pm
PE - Option 1 - Use two hands to bounce a ball continuously. After you have bounced it ten times in a row, walk slowly around the yard whilst bouncing the ball. Try to complete one lap of the yard whilst bouncing the ball. Option 2 – Set up a target (empty box, bin, bucket etc.). Start 1 metre from the target, and try to throw an object (ball, crumpled paper, Lego block etc.) into the target using over arm throw. Every time you successfully hit the target, take a step back. Creative Arts - Draw a picture of a plant that you can see. This could be a tree, flowers, weeds, grass or shrub. Include details of the leaves, the stems, trunk and flowers where applicable and match the colours to what you can see. Complete this activity in your workbook
