2. Discuss the weather and calendar: Complete the Weather and Calendar Chart
9:10: English
1. Sight words – introduce new sight word get. Say the sight word and try to put it into a sentence. Practice all sight words including new word. Complete 2 activities from the sight word grid with your new word.
2. Reading- Complete home reading. Find all the words that you know in your home reader everyday
3. Phonics - Introduce the sound ‘s’. What is in your house that starts with ‘s’. Draw the letter in the air. Say some words that start with ‘s’. How many sounds can you hear? Complete ‘s’ page in the phonics booklet.

4. Writing- Silly Sausage sentences: Choose 1 beginning, 1 middle and one end to create a silly sentence. Complete 2 pages each day. Silly Sausage Sentences Booklet

-Name 5 things that are soft
6. Read to - Read a story book or listen to one online. Draw a picture in your exercise book of your favourite part
7. Handwriting – Use your marker and a tissue to practise tracing the letters i, l, t, f and j. These letters start at the top and move down Then complete the l page from the handwriting booklet.

11:30: Mathematics
1. Number review- Practise counting forwards to 20 and backwards from 20.
2. Weekly number focus – 7. Complete spot the number activity sheet. Point to all the pictures that show the number 7
3. 3D objects. Talk about how 3D objects are like shapes that we can hold in our hand. 3D objects are all around us. Some 3D objects we are going to learn are the sphere and the cube. The cube is like a box and a sphere is like a ball. Go on a 3D object hunt in your house. What can you find that is a sphere or a cube?
4. Listen to the 3D objects songs on YouTube
12:40: Digital Technology
Talk about what technology is. One of the things it can be is something that uses power. Go for a technology hunt in your house and see what technology you have. Think about where in the house it is. What do you use it for? On the ‘technology in the home’ worksheet look at all the rooms, draw a picture of technology in the correct rooms. For example, a fridge in the kitchen, a car in the garage. Glue into your workbook when you are finished.

Talk about handwashing. We wash our hands to get rid of germs. Look at the handwashing poster and practice washing your hands like the poster. Complete the handwashing worksheet by cutting and gluing the pictures In order. Glue into your workbook when you are finished. Talk about some other ways we can keep our bodies clean e.g. we use tooth paste to clean our teeth, we use shampoo to wash our hair. Watch the story ‘The pirate who wouldn’t wash’. Talk about what we use to keep our bodies clean.
