Morning 9-11am
Reading - Read for 10 minutes OR TRY WUSHKA online – username and password on the letter
Comprehension - Complete the Informative book Reading Response information VIP sheet for today’s book OR Complete ‘The Story Star’ page on the reverse
Writing - Writing prompt - Choose a DIFFERENT animal from pictures supplied and write about it in your book
10 Minute fruit break
Handwriting - Trace the sentence with a washable texta. Make sure you start at the dot and stay on the line. Wipe off with a damp cloth.
10 minute break
Spelling - Choose 5 new words from the sight word list. Complete 2 activities from the ‘Sight Word Activity Grid’. Check pictures on the website if you are not sure what to do.
Phonics - Search THRASS Picture Words sheets 1, 2 and 3 for things you find at home. Write them on the sheet and trace the bold letters in a colour. Then write them in alphabetical order in your work book. Finally, write a sentence about the picture for at least three of the picture words in your list.

Middle session 11:30 - 1pm
Counting - Counting forwards and backwards from any number – see lilac maths instructions sheet for details. You Need: Playing Cards & hundreds chart supplied in your pack
Multiplication & Division - Dice Multiplication – see lilac maths instructions sheet for details. You Need: Dice Counters Workbook
3D and 2D SPACE -2D shape art Geometric Art ; model provided Day One: glue the black strips onto the white page like the model. Leave to dry until tomorrow. Day Two: Look carefully at the model. Some shapes are coloured and some are white. Decide which shapes to colour and which ones to leave white on your art work. Work slowly and carefully.

Afternoon session 2-3pm
PE - Option 1 - Use two hands to bounce a ball continuously. After you have bounced it ten times in a row, walk slowly around the yard whilst bouncing the ball. Try to complete one lap of the yard whilst bouncing the ball. Option 2 – Set up a target (empty box, bin, bucket etc.). Start 1 metre from the target, and try to throw an object (ball, crumpled paper, Lego block etc.) into the target using over arm throw. Every time you successfully hit the target, take a step back. Personal Development - 1.Write or draw how it feels when you are not respected by others. 2. Act out the drama cards to your family members and talk about how you might feel if that happen to you. Refer to the blue sheet - Drama cards in your package.
History - Transport in the past and present 1. Discuss with someone in your home whether the transport in the pictures came from the past or the present. 2. Discuss whether you have seen them before. 3. Then label each picture as “past” or “present”. 4. Paste the worksheet into your workbook.
