Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

At the Lethbridge Park Public School, we believe that students are at the centre of all we do. Their growth, development, and achievements shape our educational practices and initiatives. Our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment empowers students to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.
We understand that every student has unique learning needs. That’s why we invest in expert teachers and collaborative processes that ensure every student is learning at their point of need. By working together, educators create tailored learning experiences that engage students and promote success for all. We strive to develop whole children by nurturing their social-emotional, physical, creative, and intellectual capabilities, ensuring a well-rounded education that unlocks and inspires their potential.

Recognising the rich diversity of our student population, we celebrate and integrate culture into our curriculum through various programs and events. Our Dharug language classes aim to awaken a sleeping language and connect students with the local Indigenous culture. We also have Pasifika and Aboriginal dance groups that showcase cultural heritage and promote community spirit. We actively celebrate diversity with events such as Yarn Ups, NAIDOC Week, and Multicultural Day, fostering understanding and respect within our school community. Personalised Learning Pathway meetings ensure that we embrace each student's unique background and learning journey, making education relevant and meaningful for everyone.
Our student leadership opportunities empower students to positively influence their school community, which has inspired the development of innovative outdoor learning spaces. These include the yarning circle, the Bush Tucker Garden, and engaging play spaces that enhance learning experiences that foster collaboration among peers and a sense of belonging. To further promote a positive school environment, we hold termly celebrations such as Reward Days, where students are recognised for their achievements, and attendance shirts and prizes to encourage consistent participation. Weekly assemblies and termly Growth and Attainment celebrations also provide a platform to celebrate student successes and reinforce our school values.
In addition, we offer a range of extracurricular opportunities that make our school unique. Our Kitchen Garden program teaches students about sustainability and healthy eating, while After School Clubs provide further enrichment, allowing students to explore their interests in a fun, supportive environment.
Our commitment to working in partnership with families and carers, as well as external providers and agencies, ensures that every student and family feels a sense of belonging and connection. Examples of this include our Termly 3-Way Goal Setting meetings, digital portfolios, and community connection BBQs. By valuing and respecting the cultural backgrounds of our students, we create a more inclusive and enriching learning environment that fosters success for everyone.
