How to enrol
Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community.
Check your eligibility by using the School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
In Area Enrolments - If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these steps:
Apply online by completing our online enrolment application or visit the school office to collect a paper enrolment form.
Out of Area Enrolments - If you live outside our local intake area, you are generally required to enrol at your designated local school. However, if you have special circumstances, you may apply for an out of area enrolment. All out of area enrolment applications are subject to strict criteria and limited availability to manage school capacity effectively. An enrolment panel reviews all out of area expressions of interest with a focus on individual family circumstances and the school's capacity.
Typical reasons considered for out of area enrolments include:
> Siblings currently attending the school
> Safety and supervision concerns
> Proximity and access to the school
> Medical reasons
> Compassionate circumstances
> Cultural connections
> Attending a Public Preschool associated with the school
Steps to follow for an out of area enrolment:
- Visit your local school to discuss the enrolment of your child with the school principal or delegate.
- If, after the visit, you still wish to enrol your child in a non-local school, inform your local school of your decision.
- Complete the out of area expression of interest form online here or collect a paper copy from the non-local school office.
- Clearly indicate your reason(s) for applying out of area
- Submit your application promptly; incomplete applications may not be considered.
- Your application will be reviewed by the enrolment panel, who will assess individual circumstances and school capacity.
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application.
- If your application is successful, you will received confirmation via email or phone and will be requested to complete the application online or via a paper enrolment form.
Please note:
Priority will be given to in-area students. Out of area enrolments are granted only when there is sufficient capacity and valid special circumstances.
Preschool Enrolments for 2027 – Expressions of Interest Now Open!
Lethbridge Park Public School is now accepting Expression of Interest Forms for our 2027 preschool enrolments! If you have a child who will be eligible for preschool in 2027, we invite you to express your interest.
You can:
- Download the Expression of Interest Form to print and complete at home, or
- Collect a form from the school office during school hours.
