Our extra-curricular highlights

Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Yarn Up
Yarn Up is a celebration that brings together our students, their families, and our staff in a spirit of connection and pride. It’s a time to share stories, reflect on achievements, and strengthen the bonds within our school community. The event features guest speakers who highlight the progress of our students and the school, acknowledging the hard work, growth, and aspirations that continue to shape our journey together.

Dance Group
Our Dance Group performed at the 2025 Synergy Dance Festival with the theme ‘Get Up Off That Thing’. It was absolutely electrifying! The performance was truly amazing — so proud of this incredible showcase of talent and energy.”

Gardening
In our community garden, students get their hands in the soil as they grow plants, learn to compost, and proudly harvest the fresh produce they’ve nurtured.

After School Clubs
Twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00pm–4:00pm, our after-school club brings the fun—run, build, create, craft, grow, and discover with PE, Minecraft, Arts & Crafts, Science, Fitness, Tech, and even a Kitchen Garden!

Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

NAIDOC Week
NAIDOC Week is a significant celebration in Australia, held annually in the first week of July. It honors the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Gardening
Our students actively engage in hands-on learning by growing plants in our community garden, where they also develop skills in composting, sustainable practices, and harvesting the produce they cultivate.

STEM
