Community involvement

As a Connected Communities School, we are committed to working in partnerships with all our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, and all families, to foster a strong sense of connection and belonging. We recognise our families are their children’s first teachers and as such, play a crucial role in their overall development. Opportunities such as Personalised Learning Pathway meetings, termly 3 Way Goal Setting, Open Classrooms and Badge assemblies, semesterly Yarn Ups and family picnics, ensure our families feel a part of their child’s learning journey, forming positive relationships with our school. Further to this, we work in partnership with many local, government and non-government agencies including The Smith Family, The Salvation Army, The Bill Crews Foundation, Mission Australia, The Hive and NSW Health to support the diverse needs of our community.
